Sobba Rasta (previously Bwoy Lyrikal) is a talented upcoming Ghanaian artist gaining popularity across the country. The Afropop musician started playing musical instruments in his early childhood. His love for music lead him to start creating covers for popular songs when he was in Senior High School. After his completion of school, Sobba took on music as a profession and started recording his own songs after meeting a Ghanaian based Nigerian producer at a party in 2012. Sobba’s music is inspired by the legendary Michael Jackson, Fela Kuti, Wizkid and Mugeez of R2bees.

Sobba released his first single “AWAY” which earned him recognition from the masses in 2014. He later released additional songs in 2015 which helped build his fan base across Ghana. In 2016 he returned to school to further his education and is since back to stay in the music scene with more powerful songs such as “Our Day”, “Love Overseas”, “Live Life” and “FREEDOM” which all came with official music videos. Sobba collaborated with DatBeatGod on single “Wasting Time” and most recently released his video for “Vibes” a tune from his EP “Late Arrival”.
