Qway C is an emerging talented R&B and Afobeat singer/songwriter born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with West African descent. Growing up around traditional Ghanaian music helped fuel his musical passion; now these same Afro sounds shine through in his own art.

Qway C has a distinct deep yet soothing voice, whether he is singing smooth and slow or uptempo, his sound can be easily recognized. He was initially a member of the Winnipeg local rap group: YSMG (Young Successful Music Group) from 2014 to 2016; and now officially has become the newest EMB artist. 

Qway C took part as a feature on Ben Tamana’s “First Time Lover”, for his first ever project in 2015. He then continued on to his first international feature with Mauro G on “One Time” in 2021. Qway C has since had a handful of solo and featured projects through to 2022. To start off his EMB partnership, Qway C released his newest hot Afrobeat single and official video “5 Star Whine” featuring R.O.Z.
